IMMUNE DEFENSES
The secret to our extra-strength propolis lies in its uniquely high content of polyphenols. These plant-produced molecules which have natural antioxidant properties, draw more and more interest in the research for the prevention of certain diseases. Polyphenols play a protective role and have demonstrated immunomodulatory, antimicrobial, antiviral, antifungal and antioxidant activities, allowing the body to better handle external aggressions and providing added support during intense medical treatment.

Propolis stimulates the phagocyte activity of macrophages, the first line of defense. The destruction of infected cells is also boosted. And if the body’s response is not enough, the adaptive - or acquired - immune system takes over. And here again, propolis plays an important part by stimulating the B cells to generate an increase in antibodies.

ANTIVIRAL ACTION
To fight against the flu virus, certain flavonoids specific to poplar-type propolis have an anti-neuraminidase action (observed in vitro), and stop the diffusion of virions by preventing the infestation of healthy cells. In this case, the propolis must be taken in liquid form as it allows the active ingredients it contains to get into direct contact with the pathogenic agents.

PROPHYLACTIC EFFECT
Propolis is used to protect the nasopharyngeal system. The dose of propolis coats the mucous membrane with a protective and antibacterial veil and quickly calms irritations. When propolis is taken preventively it will allow the body to better defend itself once an infection is established. The protective effect of the propolis will be amplified and will prepare the body by having an immunostimulant effect. This effect is dose-dependent. So to guarantee this effect, it is important to consume a sufficient quantity of polyphenols.
#Ingredients#Organic poplar-type propolis 20% guaranteed with total 9.5% polyphenol content. Organic brandy (excipient). With no preservatives or artificial colorings. Keep at room temperature. For adults only. Contains alcohol (55%).

Packaging: Dropper-bottle 14 ml. One pipette contains 15 drops.
#Directions for use#INTERNAL USE
As with all propolis mother tinctures, the taste is very strong. For a milder taste we recommend taking the doses with honey, on top of soft bread, or with organic extra-virgin olive oil. To let the alcohol evaporate while keeping the propolis intact, pour the content of the pipette on some food and leave for at least 2 hours at room temperature before consuming.

Preventive treatment: 30 drops at a time, 1 to 2 times a day (equivalent to 2 to 4 pipettes) for a period of 20 days during flu or epidemic seasons. Renew if necessary. Wait 10 days between two 20-day courses of treatment.

Supportive treatment: 30 drops at a time up to 4 times a day (up to 8 pipettes) in case of infection, at the onset of symptoms.

Take at the end of a meal, directly into your mouth or pour the pipette onto a biscuit, soft bread, rice cracker or honey.

EXTERNAL USE
Apply one drop on the affected area using a cotton swab. Renew 3 times a day if necessary.

Propolis is naturally insoluble in water. In case of contact withclothing, skin or tooth enamel, use a cotton swab or piece of fabric and dabsome rubbing alcohol on the projection site.
