The recipe for Effipollen was elaborated to combine the effects of fiber, zinc, vitamin E and lactic acid bacteria, and promote proper bowel function and digestive wellbeing. Fiber facilitates proper food progression during the digestion process. Zinc and vitamin E fight against oxidative stress and the formation of pro-inflammatory molecules. The bee-specific lactic acid bacteria (mainly Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium) work to restore the microbiota’s balance, and in turn facilitate a smooth digestive process. Effipollen for digestion harmony also provides glutamic acid and arginine, two important amino acids for normal intestinal cell function.

The intestinal mucosa alone is responsible for 60 to 70% of our immune system, and fights against pathogens transported by the foods we eat. The synergy of fiber, zinc, vitamin E as well as lactic acid bacteria strengthens the body’s natural barriers and acts to regulate the specific and nonspecific immunity.
