  1. This certified organic Spring Honey is the fruit of the first harvests from an apiary located in the heart of the Marais Poitevin. It is the fruit of beekeepers who share our commitment to thoughtful beekeeping, placing the well-being of bees and respect for their natural cycle at the forefront. This clear and creamy honey reveals a delicate aromatic bouquet, the result of spring foraging in wild meadows, fruit trees, and preserved plots: plum trees, meadowsweet, apple trees, and many others. Harvested by hand and extracted using traditional methods, it captures all the subtlety of the first honey flows.

    ABOUT LES ABEILLES DE MALESCOT
A former cereal farm located in the commune of Bouglon in the Lot-et-Garonne region, the Malescot estate has been transformed into an organic beekeeping operation dedicated to creating an ideal environment for bees. This conversion, the result of a long transition, involves daily work selecting honey-producing plants, maintaining plots, and planting hedges, aiming to recreate a natural ecosystem requiring human intervention. The state has also integrated a honey production and processing unit to ensure optimal traceability and limit travel.

  3. #HONEY CRYSTALLIZATION#All honeys crystallize! Contrary to popular belief, this is in no way a sign of poor quality or evidence of added sugar. This natural phenomenon varies, however, depending on the floral origin of the honey and the storage temperature. How to liquefy honey that has become hard or grainy: simply place the jar of honey in a bain-marie, no hotter than 45° C, or it will lose its nutritional qualities. Careful: by doing so, some properties may be altered such as organoleptic qualities, specifically taste and aromas. Therefore, it is always best to keep honey in its natural state!
